Abstract

A new genus, Parapsycharium n.gen. and its type species, I! paarlense, are described in Somabrachyidae. A key to the somabrachyid genera Somabrachys Kirby, Psycharium Herrich-Schaffer and Parapsycharium n.gen. is given. The description of the new taxon includes the description of its final instar larva.
