Bone Changes in Leprosy. Their Incidence, Progress, Prevention and Arrest.

The author after reviewing 27 papers on bone changes in leprosy found that most of the authors of these papers considered that absorption of bone of the fingers and toes is mainly neurotrophic in origin and progressive in character. He concludes that " if this is the case, then rehabilitation in leprosy is doomed to failure". He then gives the results of a study of radiographs of 108 leprosy...
